Talecade

Chronodrop

A time machine drops you into a real moment in history. The events are researched and true, but your part in them is made up. Make it back to the lab with a relic, and the comments pick where the machine goes next.

Each chapter is set in one real moment, written the way a historical novel would tell it. The date, the place, the people and how it ended all come from real sources. The machine, Dr. Otto Pendle (the scientist who built it) and everything you do there are made up.You land in the middle of it with no idea what’s going on. The people who were there can help you if you find them. There’s a puzzle in your way, and something is hunting you. You’re done when you’re back in the lab with a relic.
